Millions commemorate Lennon's death

Millions of people around the world have marked the 30th anniversary of the death of John Lennon.

Several hundred people attended a late night vigil in the former Beatle's home city of Liverpool.

Fans also gathered at the "Imagine" mosaic in New York's Central Park - a memorial to Lennon, near to where he was shot dead in 1980.
