The Hoff tipped for 'Britain's Got Talent' job
Former 'Baywatch' star David Hasselhoff could step in as a judge for the next series of 'Britain’s Got Talent', it has been reported.
The Hoff – a regular visitor to the UK who is soon to appear in a London panto - has previously been on the US version of the show.
The Sun claimed he has been approached to replace Simon Cowell as a judge on the show for next year’s run.
Show boss Cowell will soon be busy with the US version of his other talent search 'The X Factor', due to launch next year.
Hasselhoff quit 'America’s Got Talent' earlier this year and has had a well-publicised battle with drink problems.
The actor – a cult star for his appearances in TV series 'Knight Rider' and as lifeguard Mitch Buchannon in worldwide hit 'Baywatch' – will appear in panto as Captain Hook in the New Wimbledon Theatre’s 'Peter Pan' this month.
