Cole lands €3.6m US 'X Factor' role

Cheryl Cole has landed a £3m (€3.6m) deal to be a judge on the US 'X Factor'.

The 'Promise This' singer - who has won the past two consecutive seasons of the UK show with her acts Alexandra Burke and Joe McElderry - will join Simon Cowell on the Stateside judging panel after impressing show bosses with her "good looks" and "natural chemistry" with the music mogul.
