McKeith ends turbulent Bush stay

The torment Gillian McKeith has endured on 'I’m a Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!' has come to an end after the nutritionist was booted off the show.

The 51-year-old said she was the “happiest person alive” after she was evicted from the show.

Before she went on the show 17 days ago, McKeith admitted she was afraid of insects, water, heights, rats and crocodiles and was picked time-and-time again to face her fears in the show’s Bush Tucker Trials.

After she was given the boot she told the show hosts Ant and Dec: “I am the happiest person alive.

“I was petrified I would have to do more trials.

“I did not think I would be picked for all these trials. I thought I would be cooking.”

About her experiences with the trials, she said: “The anxiety levels just grew and grew. I felt like I was on high alert all the time.”
