Gillian McKeith said she was on the verge of “mental exhaustion” as she became the first ever contestant to refuse to attempt a Bushtucker Trial.

The nutritionist, who had been voted to attempt a sixth 'I’m A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!' challenge, walked away from the Dreaded Digger trial after being told that green ants and cockroaches would be dropped on her head.
