Outgoing Florida governor seeks pardon for Doors frontman Morrison
Outgoing Florida Governor Charlie Crist is looking to pardon long-dead rocker Jim Morrison, who was convicted of exposing himself at a raucous concert in Miami in 1969.
Morrison was lead singer with top 1960s rock band The Doors and a Florida native. He was appealing against his conviction for indecent exposure and profanity when he died in a Paris bathtub in 1971 at the age of 27.
