Praise for first track from Liam's post-Oasis combo

Beady Eye released their debut track 'Bring The Light' as a free download today.

The song is a 60s rock ‘n’ roll-inspired number driven by a blues piano riff with echoes of the Rolling Stones and The Beatles and features female backing dancers accompanying frontman Liam Gallagher.

Initial responses to the song have been positive with NME.com describing it as “a seize-the-moment anthem about love and booze … that and is based on a hammering rock n'roll riff.”

The track is the first release by Liam’s new band – which is also comprised of Gem Archer, Andy Bell and Chris Sharrock - since Oasis split in August 2009 following the departure of guitarist Noel Gallagher.

It is the first song from Beady Eye’s upcoming debut album – which the band have recorded with producer Steve Lillywhite - and is available from the band’s website www.beadyeyemusic.co.uk.
