Pop star Lily Allen was today in hospital battling blood poisoning just days after suffering her second miscarriage, her spokesman confirmed.

Pop star Lily Allen was today in hospital battling blood poisoning just days after suffering her second miscarriage, her spokesman confirmed.

The 25-year-old singer was said to be responding well to treatment for septicaemia and thanked fans for their messages of support.
