'Ready Steady Cook' set for chop

'Ready Steady Cook' is to be axed after 15 years on air, it has emerged.

The BBC cookery show - in which guests bring on a £5 (€5.77) worth of food to be turned into meals by professional chefs - is to be taken off the air in 2011 after ratings have halved from three million to just 1.5 million in recent times.
