Byrne 'guaranteed a £1m record deal'

'X Factor' hopeful Mary Byrne has reportedly been guaranteed a secret £1m (€1.15m) record deal.

The supermarket worker - who wowed judges on Saturday night with a rendition of Barry Manilow's 'Could It Be Magic' - is said to have been offered the album deal by music mogul Simon Cowell, regardless of whether or not she wins the ITV1 show.
