‘Saw 3D’ another installment of failed franchise

By now it must be obvious that this franchise has moved well beyond its sell-by date, and not even the 3D tag makes it better.

Yet on and on and on it goes, remorselessly unsatisfactory.

Here, as if any suggestion of a plot makes a difference, we touch on the legacy of Jigsaw (Bell) with a group of survivors banding together to seek the assistance of fellow survivor Bobby Dagen (Flannery) … and unleashing new horrors.

Fans of the long-running series will, natch, be thrilled and delighted with the blood and gore so it would be best if the rest of you simply left them to it … you’ll feel the benefit by missing the latest drivel.
