Jedward plan Christmas single

Irish duo Jedward are planning to battle this year's X Factor winner for Christmas number one.

John and Edward Grimes from Dublin failed to win last year's talent show but have gone on to become stars in any case.

They apparently want to release a single at the same time as the X Factor champion to rival them in the charts.

The quiff-haired twins also revealed they plan to work with American psychedelic pop band MGMT.
