N-Dubz eye Cole duet

N-Dubz want to record a “great pop tune” with Cheryl Cole.

The hip-hop group – Dappy, Tulisa and Fazer - are fans of the Girls Aloud star and think a collaboration between them would produce a “great pop tune”.

Dappy said: “Cheryl’s cool. If we could do something together it would work, of course it would work, because it would be us three and Cheryl Cole. We’d make a great pop record and have a big hit.”

Although they are keen to get in the studio with Cheryl, Tulisa is not convinced the 27-year-old singer would be allowed to release a single with them.

Tulisa said: “I think Cheryl likes N-Dubz, but I don’t think her record label would allow her to do a tune with N-Dubz. I don’t think we fit with her career plan. But if we could make a beat with her, you know, make a tune with her we wouldn’t say no.”

N-Dubz latest single, ‘Best Behaviour’, is available now.
