OK Go win video award

Cult band OK Go last night landed an accolade for video of the year for a mind-boggling one-take film which created a YouTube sensation.

The band's promo for 'This Too Shall Pass' featured a domino-effect-style sequence of events which culminated in them being blasted with paint guns.

The film, created by British director James Frost, triumphed at the third annual UK Music Video Awards tonight.

US band OK Go's film, which has been 16 million times online, was also named Best Rock Video.

Rapper turned soul singer Plan B landed four awards - Best Pop Video, Best Art Direction for Prayin' and Best Cinematography and Best Styling for 'Stay Too Long'.

The director of Plan B's videos, Daniel Wolfe, was named Best Director.

Garth Jennings and Nick Goldsmith, who are also known as Hammer & Tongs, won the "Icon" award for their contribution to the industry. The pair have made notable videos for Supergrass, Blue and Fatboy Slim, before finding movie success with 'The Hitchhiker's Guide To the Galaxy' and 'Son of Rambow'.

Comedian Peter Serafinowicz saw the video he directed for Hot Chip take the best dance award with 'I Feel Better'.
