Fired 'Apprentice' candidate holds hands up

The latest contestant to get the boot off 'The Apprentice' has admitted that a friendship with another candidate may have clouded his judgement.

Kieran Walsh, a 28-year-old commercial director and professional poker player from Cork, was criticised on the show last night for bringing rivals Tara Lee and Ciara Mc Manus into the boardroom.

Walsh chose to save Caroline from the wrath of Bill Cullen, even though she failed to clock up a single sale during last night's task.

He admits now that he was too hard on the girls and should have followed his head and not his heart.
