Cowell's lawyers 'helping Gamu fight deportation'

Simon Cowell has reportedly called in his lawyers to help the axed X Factor contestant Gamu Nhengu fight deportation.

Cowell told The Sun he's helping Gamu and her family as much as possible because he feels for their situation "outside the show".

Gamu says she fears for her life if she's forced to go back to Zimbabwe.

Tonight, the four judges will reveal which acts have earned a reprieve as a wildcard choice.
