Ifans and Marks emotional at 'Mr Nice' premiere

Rhys Ifans cried like a "little girl" after seeing his new movie 'Mr Nice' for the first time.

The actor admits it was such an emotional experience to portray his friend, cannabis smuggler Howard Marks, in the film that the pair openly wept in front of each other after watching it.

He said: "It's my first leading role, so I'm very proud. It's rare you get asked to play someone who is both still alive and a person you know very well.

"We've been friends for about 14 years, since he came out of prison. He's like my big brother. He's even seen my band, The Peth, play in London a few times. We saw the film for the first time together and held hands all the way through. At the end we both wept like little girls. It was really moving."
