Myers set to voice cartoon skunk
Mike Myers is reported to be the new voice of loveable cartoon skunk Pepe Le Pew.
Warner Brothers is developing a live-action and CGI movie on the lovelorn French skunk, and the Shrek star is attached to lend his vocal talents to the lead role, said Vulture.
In the film, Pepe and his unrequited love interest Penelope Pussycat would be CGI characters, with the rest of the movie shot in live action.
Created in 1945, Pepe starred in more than a dozen animated short films, with one of them – Chuck Jones’s 'For Scent-imental Reasons' – even winning the Oscar for Best Animated Short Subject (Cartoons) in 1949.
