Stone offered Watson role in next 'Spiderman' movie

Emma Stone has been offered the role of Mary Jane Watson in the new 'Spiderman' movie.

Sony Pictures is reported to have selected the 'Easy A' star over a number of possible alternatives, including 'Glee' actress Dianna Agron and 'Alice in Wonderland' beauty Mia Wasikowska to take on the romantic lead in the movie - which is being rebooted with Andrew Garfield as the titular hero.
