MGMT baffled by 'kooky' Jedward

MGMT are baffled by the Jedward phenomenon, calling them “kooky”.

The Brooklyn-based band have been surprised with all the hype surrounding the Irish twins, john and Edward Grimes.

“I didn’t even know who Jedward was until about a week ago in Dublin – I saw a TV show called 'OMG It’s Jedward', I watched that and I enjoyed it,” said founding member Andrew Vanwyngarden.

“I was like ’Wow’. This is one of those crazy phenomenons that’s really unique in this part of the world because no-one knows who Jedward really are in the United States. I thought it was kind of ridiculous – they seemed like really kooky guys,” he added.
