Charlie Sheen says his daughter’s wedding was one of the “great moments” of his life.
The ‘Two and a Half Men’ actor was delighted to walk 25-year-old Cassandra Estevez – whose mother is his ex-girlfriend Paula Profitt – down the aisle when she married childhood sweetheart Casey Huffman at Santa Barbara's Bacara Resort and Spa last Saturday.
He said: “It was fabulous. It was just… it was one of the great moments. It’s a moment that you try to imagine when it happens, but it’s nothing like you thought it was going to be.”
Charlie – who also has daughters Sam, six, and five-year-old Lola with ex-wife Denise Richards and 18-month-old twin sons Max and Bob with current spouse Brooke Mueller – was delighted to welcome Casey into his family.
He told US TV show ‘Access Hollywood’: “He’s terrific… she’s a terrific gal and we are all thrilled.”
Cassandra and Casey – who tied the knot in front of 165 guests - followed the ceremony with a lavish five-course dinner, before performing their first dance to Al Green’s ‘Let’s Stay Together’.
During the meal, Charlie, 45, toasted the happy couple.
Wedding planner Jill La Fleur revealed to People magazine: "He was clearly very proud of her. He had a big smile on his face.
"He told her how happy he was for her and then he teased the groom and made everyone laugh."
