Award recognises 'true star' Cowell

'X-Factor' supremo Simon Cowell has been recognised as “a true star” at a prestigious television festival.

Cowell will receive the Rose d’Or Golden Jubilee award on Wednesday at a ceremony in Lucerne, Switzerland, marking the festival’s 50th anniversary.
