'Emmerdale' triumphed at the TV Choice Awards 2010 last night.
The rural soap took home three of the coveted television awards, with actor Danny Miller receiving two gongs - Best Soap Actor and Best Soap Storyline for his portrayal of gay mechanic Aaron Livesy.
Speaking before the event at London's Dorchester Hotel, he said: "I'm not really expecting to win anything to be honest, so I'm not that nervous.
"But I think it's going to be a very late night and really good fun."
The 19-year-old actor was joined on the winners' list by his co-star Adam Thomas, who won the Best Soap Newcomer award for his work as Adam Barton, the object of Aaron's affections.
Adam started work on the Yorkshire Dales-based show last summer, after following his 'Coronation Street' actor brother Ryan Thomas into a soap.
Proud Ryan said: "I'm only here to see Adam hopefully win Best Newcomer tonight.
"I spoke to Ben Price - who plays Nick Tilsley in 'Corrie' - last night and he's up for it as well. I don't really care if Ben wins or not, I want my brother to win. I told Ben this as well. There's more rivalry with me and 'Corrie' than there is me and 'Emmerdale'!
"I'll be well made up if Adam wins, I'll be chuffed. He's got work tomorrow, but if he wins tonight he won't be going in! Actually, it is better the producers don't listen to that."
Although 'Coronation Street' lost out on the prized 'Best Soap' honour to 'EastEnders', actress Jennie McAlpine was thrilled the Weatherfield show was recognised for 50 years on TV screens.
Jennie - who plays Fizz Stape - said: "It's been a bit of a mad dash to get here. We've been filming this morning up on the Street.
"50 years young, 'Corrie' is this year, so hopefully we'll take some good awards home with us this evening."
As well as Best Soap honour, 'EastEnders' also celebrated with a Best Soap Actress win for Lacey Turner, for her role as troubled new mum Stacey Branning.
Denise Welch also triumphed after receiving the Best Actress for Steph Haydock in 'Waterloo Road', while 'Skins' star Jack O'Connell was awarded the Best Actor prize.
