ESB announce comedy line-up for Electric Picnic

ESB have announced a line-up of comedians to cycle 30 bikes in order to power a single shower and provide the laughs at ESB Picnic Power at this year’s Electric Picnic.

Leading Irish and International comedians including Karl Spain, Andrew Stanley, Dermot Whelan, Damian Clark and Steve Frost will keep festival goers motivated over the September weekend.

ESB Picnic Power aims to raise awareness of sustainable energy usage in an engaging way, and festival goers should be warned that comedians will select participants at random to indulge in a hot shower as their fellow cyclists peddle hard to power it.

The line-up of MC’s for the ESB Picnic Power sessions is:

Friday 4th September:

* 8PM – Andrew Stanley

Saturday 5th September:

* 2PM – Dermot Whelan

* 4PM – Damian Clark

* 6PM – Steve Frost

Sunday 6th September:

* 3PM – Karl Spain
