Annie Lennox has left her record label Sony after 30 years to launch an attempt at getting a Christmas number one.

Annie Lennox has left her record label Sony after 30 years to launch an attempt at getting a Christmas number one.

The former Eurhythmics singer will release her next album, a collection of what she calls "dark" covers of Christmas carols, through Amy Winehouse's label Island Records.
