Katona to make 'Dancing On Ice' appearance

Kerry Katona is set to appear on ‘Dancing On Ice’.

The former Atomic Kitten star – who won ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ in 2004 - is being lined-up to take part in the ITV1 celebrity ice skating show and has been offered a reported £50,000.

A source close to the mother-of-four – whose career has been on the slide following allegations of drug-taking – said: “Kerry is chuffed to bits. She thinks her luck is finally on the turn. It’s a dream come true.”

It is also thought bosses are keen to get Kerry’s friend Peter Andre to sign up as they think he will be a ratings winner because of Kerry’s strained relationship with his ex-wife Katie Price.

The source added to the Daily Star newspaper: “Some of the routines on the show are pretty raunchy and Kate’s reaction would be the icing on the cake for producers.”

Other stars being lined-up for the show include Robbie Williams' best friend, singer-and-presenter Jonathan Wilkes, DJ Tim Westwood and former ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ Matthew Cutler.
