The Daleks have exterminated all challengers to be named the greatest monsters in the galaxy by sci-fi fans today.

The metal-clad mutant race – first seen on Doctor Who in 1963 – triumphed over creatures from Star Trek, Lord Of The Rings and the Alien and Predator films.
