Cowell tackles flab with new exercise and diet regime
Simon Cowell "religiously" does 100 press-ups a day.
The reality TV mogul is determined to live a healthy lifestyle and get fit after friends made jokes about his paunch, and the results of his strict diet and exercise regime are now beginning to show.
A friend of the star told Britain's Hello! magazine: "Simon is in very good shape, thanks to work outs and religiously doing 100 press ups a day. He also uses the gym at his Los Angeles mansion. He doesn't have a personal trainer, as he prefers to exercise on his own.
"He's also eating more sensibly, with fruit smoothies and vegetable soups replacing junk food."
Another insider told how Simon - who is currently on holiday in the Mediterranean - has enlisted the help of close friend and former flame Sinitta in the hope of banishing man boobs, nicknamed 'moobs', for good.
Despite being on holiday, the reality television judge has had a toning Power Plate machine delivered to his yacht.
The source told Reveal magazine: "Sinitta swears by the machine to blitz any unwanted bits of flab, and always likes to have one nearby, even when she's on holiday.
"Now she's encouraging Simon to give it a go and get his chest in shape - the new machines are great for toning the upper body."
