Comedian Brand set for waxwork in Madame Tussauds
Staff at Madame Tussauds got an eyeful of Russell Brand when they measured up the star for a waxwork that will go on show next month.
They took more than 300 different measurements of the actor and comedian at a Los Angeles studio to make sure the model is as lifelike as possible before it is unveiled at Madame Tussauds in central London,
The Essex-born performer, who is engaged to American singer Katy Perry, said: “Now that I’m monogamous I want to live vicariously through wax Russell, I insist that he’s placed next to wax Helen Mirren and I hope they melt into one sexy blob.”
The wax model will be dressed in a trademark Brand outfit complete with make-up, skin-tight trousers and jewellery.
Brand is playing the title role in a remake of the Dudley Moore film 'Arthur', currently being filmed in the United States.
