'Big Brother' nominees John James, Mario and Rachel will battle it out today in the Save and Replace task to spare themselves from the public vote.

'Big Brother' nominees John James, Mario and Rachel will battle it out today in the Save and Replace task to spare themselves from the public vote.

The trio will each have to dress up as insects for the Stick Insects task lying on a sticky surface, with the first person able to pull themselves up winning themselves immunity from this week’s eviction and putting another housemate in their place.

BB superfan Mario was nominated for the first time this week, receiving five nominations from his fellow housemates.

The unemployed half-Irish, half-Italian lover of the reality TV show will now fight for survival against fellow nominees, Australian John James and air hostess Rachel, who received four nominations each.

Mario has faced the public vote for eviction twice already this year, when squatter Shabby and Irish student Coaimhe both chose him after winning their Save and Replace tasks.

The self-proclaimed 'Big Brother' superfan was branded a back-stabber by evictee Ben after he nominated the Tory writer, formerly his friend, and told him he was the most likely to be voted out by the public.

New arrival Sam was immune from nominations this week.

Katie Price lookalike Corin, Welsh minister Dave and boxer JJ received no nominations from their fellow housemates.

According to bookmaker William Hill, Corin is favourite to win the last ever series of the Channel 4 reality show, with odds of 13/8.

Australian contestant John James is second favourite to win with odds of 5/2, with Bristol blonde Josie, with whom he is conducting a 'Big Brother' romance, placed third favourite to win, at 4/1.
