Kings forced off stage by pigeons

Kings of Leon have had to abandon a concert in the US state of Missouri because pigeons kept pooing on them.

The band played just three songs at the gig in St Louis before the bird droppings got too much.

They later apologised on Twitter, saying they had no choice but to leave the stage because it was just "too unsanitary to continue".
