Osbourne to front new chat show

Sharon Osbourne is to co-host a new talk show in the US, it has been announced.

The former 'X-Factor' judge will share hosting duties on the new daytime programme with 'Roseanne' star Sara Gilbert, Holly Robinson Peete from 'Celebrity Apprentice', Broadway actress Marissa Janet Winokur, Leah Remini of 'The King Of Queens' and Julie Chen, who hosts 'The Early Show'.

The daily CBS show will replace soap opera 'As The World Turns', which concludes its 54-year run in September.

Gilbert developed the programme, which has not yet been named.

A specific launch date has not been announced.
