Jolie reveals on-set injury

Angelina Jolie has revealed she was scarred by an on-set injury filming the spy action thriller 'Salt'.

The A-list actress, who plays mysterious character Evelyn Salt, who may or may not be a Russian spy, performed her own stunts in the film.

Speaking at the Comic Con festival in San Diego, California, she said she sliced open part of her face just above her nose when tumbling into a doorway with a gun.

She first thought she had suffered a concussion because she could not hear anything, but later realised she was wearing earplugs.

Salt opens in US cinemas today.
