Lohan lawyer 'resigns' ahead of actress' prison stay

Lindsay Lohan's lawyer has reportedly quit the case just hours before the actress is due to enter prison.

The 'Mean Girls' star is scheduled to report to a Beverly Hills court sometime today for breaking terms of her probation, and then taken into jail for 90 days.

However, celebrity website TMZ claims that Robert Shapiro, who took up her case a week ago on condition she comply with her sentence, has resigned.
