Denzel in talks for spy thriller movie

Denzel Washington is in talks to star in spy thriller 'Safe House'.

Deadline reports that the star is expected to play a villain in Daniel Espinoza's film, which has been written by David Guggenheim.

Universal Pictures studio sounded out Denzel weeks ago before the death of his agent Ed Limato, who died on July 3, with talks resuming this week, said Variety.

'Safe House', expected to be in production later this year, is about a witness at a CIA-run safe house who must help a criminal who is being kept there, and avoid being killed by villains who want him dead.
