Oasis break up was good for Gallaghers, says Ashcroft

Oasis’ break-up will give brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher a “new lease of life”, singer Richard Ashcroft has claimed.

The former Verve frontman, who is close friends with both siblings and played a number gigs with Oasis when both bands were starting out in the early 90s, believes last year’s split will lead the pair into exciting new musical projects.
