Housemates end war of words to kiss and make up
'Big Brother' housemates John and Josie were resolving their differences today after cross words were exchanged during a heated row.
John last night announced he had a headache and was feeling âcrankyâ after being constantly disturbed by the wake-up alarm.
But his mood worsened when Josie and Govan began teasing the Aussie housemate claiming he had bad breath and continued to mock him.
Their comments led to a riled John âventing his angerâ at Josie, who retorted that he was just looking for someone to argue with following Rachaelâs eviction.
After going to the diary room to obtain some medication, he said: âJosie, why are you acting like this? Youâre supposed to be my friend. I told you I had a headache why did you not get the point.â
Josie retorted she would not be reduced to tears.
John began crying in the aftermath of the row and was comforted by Corin and Mario as he went to the bedroom to start to pack his bags.
He said: âI didnât even do anything, I just sat there and just copped it.â
The pair later sat on the bed together talking through the episode. Josie kissed Johnâs head as he shed a few tears, then she said: âStop being stupid, donât do this...it makes me feel really guilty now.â
Earlier in the day housemates failed their Humpty Dumpty themed endurance task after breaking too many rules as one team pelted the other with eggs.
But the two groups cracked a smile when a generous Big Brother informed them they could all attend a party, despite rebelling against the conditions of the task.
Housemates were split into two teams, with Shabby, Caoimhe, Ife, Nathan, John James and Govan donning their Humpty Dumpty suits to perch on a wall.
Ben, Corin, David, Josie, Mario and Steve were chosen as all the Queenâs horses and all the Queenâs men.
Whenever Big Brother played the nursery rhyme, they collected a bucket of eggs from the store room and threw them at their Humpty Dumpty housemates, attempting to knock them from the wall.
Sunshine had an egg allergy so took on the role of Queen, urging them on.
Big Brother directed that if three or more Humpty Dumptys remained sitting by the end of four hours, they could attend a party at the expense of their rivals.
Both teams flouted various rules governing the challenge, including the Humpty Dumptys smoking while on the wall, climbing off it and costumes being taken off, resulting in Big Brother calling off the task after two hours.
In other events, Shabby confided in Ife that she liked Caoimhe, who replied she should tell her or risk feeling awkward.
While the three were sitting on the sofa, Ife said: âStop. Letâs go outside. Shabby has something she wants to talk aboutâ. Shabby replied: âYou serious? That is not coolâ.
In the diary room, Shabby said she was âabsolutely mortifiedâ.
Later, when Shabby and Caoimhe were alone at the Carousel, Shabby revealed to her housemate she âreally likesâ her.
Surprised, Caoimhe said: âOh my God, Shabby, I never would have expected thatâ.
Shabby explained her reasons for telling her and said she had been avoiding her because of how she felt.
Caoimhe then told Shabby that she had respect for her and it would not change anything.
Caoimhe admitted: âI think thereâs a bit of bisexual in me.â
