Cruise: It was love at first sight

Tom Cruise knew he wanted to marry Katie Holmes on the first day they met.

The Hollywood star, 47, told OK! magazine he was instantly smitten with the 'Batman Begins' actress, 31.

He said: “I knew that I wanted to marry her after the first day I met her. What’s even more interesting is that Katie confessed that when she was a teenager she dreamt of marrying me.”

He added: “Doesn’t it seem incredible?”

The pair have been together for five years and have a four-year-old daughter, Suri, together.

Tom said of his daughter: “Everyone is absolutely fascinated by her.”
