'She’s Out of My League' a great date movie

Director: James Field Smith
Cast: Jay Baruchel, Alice Eve, T.J. Miller, Nate Torrence
While it offers nothing new, this sweet, romantic film still manages to please thanks to the central characters of Kirk (Baruchel) and Molly (Eve) and the age-old dilemma facing them.
Kirk is one of life’s 5s, a decent, melt-into-the-background sort of guy; Molly is one of life’s 10+s, a sexy, successful go-getter … so will romance blossom, will Joe Ordinary get the gal?
Kirk works as an airport security man who rescues Molly from a sleazy fellow-traveller and, against all the odds, she falls for him. It’s something Kirk can’t quite believe and he’s not helped by his lack of confidence and the scoffing of his friends.
Even Molly wonders why she loves him: he’s dependable, he’s decent, he did come to her aid … but is what they have enough for lasting happiness?
This makes for a great date movie, it’s charming and it doesn’t hold out for more than it delivers, even with a couple of out-of-place raunchy scenes thrown in. It’s gentle and it’s funny … a perfectly laid-back little film.
