Pitt buys rights to Rachman novel
Brad Pitt has acquired the screen rights to 'The Imperfectionist'.
The Hollywood heartthrob has signed a deal through his production company Plan B for the rights to the Tom Rachman-penned novel alongside his business partner Dede Gardner.
The book tells about the goings on at an English language newspaper in Rome, and is informed by the novelist's time working as a wire reporter in the Italian capital, Deadline.com reports
It is the second film in recent months in which Brad will work on a novel adaptation.
The 46-year-old star was recently confirmed to be involved in a reworking of the adventure thriller 'The Tiger: A True Story of Vengeance and Survival' - which tells the tale of an "almost" supernaturally-powerful tiger in Siberia.
Brad may take a leading role in the film, which is also being worked on by Darren Aronofsky.
Brad is currently working on a number of films, including 'The Tree of Life' alongside Sean Penn - currently in post-production - and Bennett Miller-directed drama 'Moneyball'.
