Troubled singer Amy Winehouse has moved on from her ex, Blake Fielder-Civil, and has a new boyfriend, her father said tonight.
Mitch Winehouse said his troubled daughter had put her well-documented problems behind her and was “absolutely fantastic”.
He said the 26-year-old 'Rehab' singer is now dating a “very nice normal bloke”.
He told STV’s 'The Hour' programme: “She’s got a new boyfriend.
“I’m happy she’s got a new boyfriend. I’m happy that she’s moving on with her life.”
He also said the singer was involved in a collaboration with clothing label Fred Perry, telling the programme she had been shooting photographs for the sportswear turned fashion label earlier today.
Winehouse recorded songs while holidaying in St Lucia last year, working with producer Salaam Remi, but none of this material has yet been released.
She is also reported to be recording songs for a new album.
Mr Winehouse is hoping to emulate his daughter’s musical success with the launch of his own singing career.
The former cab driver has released an album of jazz and swing classics, 'Rush Of Love'.
