Tointon and Swash split

Kara Tointon and Joe Swash have split up.

The former 'EastEnders' stars - who played siblings Dawn Swann and Mickey Miller in the soap - have apparently ended their two-year relationship after reports of frequent rows caused Kara to break off her relationship with Joe.

A source said: "After ending it Kara flew to Marbella for a holiday to get her head together.

"She has lost a lot of weight and she is really upset - there have been a lot of tears.

"Both she and Joe are really upset about it - but their rows were getting too frequent and they knew they couldn't make it work anymore."

News of the alleged break-up comes weeks after Kara denied their romance was on the rocks following rumours they repeatedly argued whilst appearing in a 'Snow White' pantomime together.

She had said: "We're very happy together, everything's going really well, but you'll have to ask him when we're getting married."

Lingerie model Kara has previously suggested she wanted to start a family with Joe - who she met five years ago when the pair both joined BBC One soap 'EastEnders' - but only started their relationship after Joe's victory on 'I'm a Celebrity'.
