Crowe admits to Bollywood ambitions

Russell Crowe wants to star in a Bollywood movie.

The Australian actor - who is currently at the Cannes Film Festival promoting Ridley Scott-directed epic 'Robin Hood' - confesses he would like to have a starring role in an Indian movie.

He said: "I don't mean a typical Hollywood film that happens to be set in India, but a Bollywood film. The script would have to be right, and I've to understand completely what I was doing, but I fancy having a go."

The 46-year-old leading man told Daily Mail columnist Baz Bamigboye he was would even be prepared to sing and dance for the role.

He said: "I can do my own singing and I can dance a little bit. I'm in no hurry. If something comes my way, fine, if it doesn't, so be it."

However, when questioned if he spoke Hindi, he responded: "No, mate."

After finishing promotion on 'Robin Hood', Russell will be working on crime drama 'The Next Three Days' alongside Liam Neeson and Elizabeth Banks.
