Cheryl's brother arrested in connection with armed robbery

Cheryl Cole's brother has been arrested in connection with an armed robbery.

Twenty-nine--year-old Andrew Tweedy, who is unemployed, is among nine people detained following a raid on a post office in North Tyneside.

Two men held up the premises with a gun and a machete on Monday.

Police say three men and a woman remain in custody - five other men have been released on bail.
