'Sex and the City' star shows thrifty side

Sarah Jessica Parker loves shopping in thrift stores because she knows she can get an outfit nobody else will have.

The 'Sex and the City' actress - known for her quirky yet stylish take on fashion - says she likes to find a bargain as well as purchasing something only she will have.

She said: "I still believe in thrift stores - they're the one place you can be assured of finding something very unique."

However, Sarah - who has three children, James, seven, and 10-month-old twins Marion and Tabitha - is still a fan of designers but says her priority is wearing clothes which suit her everyday life.

She said: "I really love beautiful, well-made clothes. I don't shop, so I tend to have pieces for a long time. I like mixing vintage with newer designers.

"But I wear whatever's practical for being a mother. I walk my son to school, and I don't want to embarrass him."

Although the 45-year-old star is regarded as one of the world's most stylish women, Sarah can't really understand all the fuss, saying: "That's hilarious."
