Paltrow rejected film because of son
Gwyneth Paltrow pulled out of a film because her son wanted her to.
The 37-year-old actress was due to work on ‘The Danish Girl’ this month, but pulled out because her son Moses, four, wanted her to spend time with him.
She said: “I recently played a very, very intense role in ‘Love Don't Let Me Down’, the sort of thing I hadn't done since ‘Proof’, when I was pregnant. My son hated it and I thought: ‘If I do this movie in May, it will be the most selfish thing.’
“I loved the role and I have always wanted to do a movie with Nicole Kidman but my family comes first. I can't get this time back."
Discussing her latest role as Pepper Potts in ‘Iron Man 2’, Paltrow admits she and fellow actress Scarlett Johansson had fun because her role combined sexiness and intelligence.
She told the Scotsman newspaper: "The women in this movie are sexy, especially Scarlett with her cat suit, but they're also intelligent ethical people. We're not just eye candy. The women have a good presence in the film."
