PA jailed for murder of ex-Ramones manager
A 28-year-old woman was jailed today for a minimum of 25 years for murdering her boss, former New York punk figure turned celebrity property agent Linda Stein.
The victim’s personal assistant Natavia Lowery, also previously convicted of stealing more than $30,000 (€22,700) from Stein, was sentenced in Manhattan.
Stein, who co-managed the Ramones in their 1970s heyday, later became a real estate broker with clients including Madonna and Sting.
The victim, who was viciously beaten, was found dead at her Fifth Avenue penthouse on October 30 2007.
