Gervais' sausage feast prompted weight loss

Ricky Gervais has revealed he decided to lose weight after gorging himself on 11 sausages in one sitting.

The 48-year old star - who has lost a stone since Christmas - says he couldn't stop himself eating.

In a webchat for MySpace, he admitted he had to lie there for a couple of hours "like a snake, just trying to digest (the sausages)".
