Holden all about the money, says Morgan
Piers Morgan claims Amanda Holden will do “anything” for money.
The ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ judge has blasted his fellow panellist for being open about her personal life and insists they are nothing alike.
He told Star magazine: “I don’t share her view that you should sell your wedding and tell all about your sex texts. She’ll do anything though, if the cheques big enough.”
Discussing her use of twitter, Morgan says he doesn’t understand the micro-blogging service and thinks it is “inane”.
He said: “It’s just a device for celebs to show how stupid and thick they are. They are the most inane utterings imaginable. I don’t get it. All Amanda’s end in about 16 exclamation marks, even when she’s just talking about having a bacon sandwich or something. Look, I don’t care!”
Holden has also hit out at Morgan – who is engaged to journalist Celia Walden – insisting his ego is “too big” to cope with more attention on his personal life.
She blasted: “Piers would love to have his wedding in a magazine.
“But with his huge ego, he wouldn’t be able to fit a photographer in the church at the same time.”
The actress also insists Morgan and fellow panelist Simon Cowell waste too much time on the talent-search show.
She said: “They waste time arguing about stuff that’s not to do with the show – their cars or ratings or success in America.”
