Klass heads back to jungle

Myleene Klass is to make another jungle reality TV show.

The TV presenter – who starred in the 2006 series of ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ and hosted the US version of the show in Costa Rica last year – has jetted out to Australia to film BBC children’s programme ‘Escape From Scorpion Island’, in which youngsters try to "make a getaway from a tropical paradise”.

Myleene told The Sun newspaper: "I'm really excited about hosting a show in Australia for the first time.

"After presenting in the US last year, it's fantastic to be given the chance to work Down Under. It's the first time I've been back since being in the jungle for ‘I'm A Celebrity…’ all those years ago.

"Hopefully this show will involve less bugs and spiders!"

The show is also screened on Australian network ABC and Myleene – who will co-host the show with Johny Pitts - is hoping viewers in Australia will warm to her.

A source said: “The show will be a good launch-pad for her on Australian TV. She’d love to work there more given the chance.”

Despite being petrified of insects, Myleene, 32, is prepared to overcome her fears for the sake of the series.

The source added: “She is terrified of creepy crawlies – and the insects in Oz are 10 times worse than anything in Costa Rica.”
